Tara Mizrahi

Executive Vice President

Tara is Executive Vice President and has been with the company since 2000. She has been committed to improving low-income communities and increasing housing and economic opportunities in the Boston area since 1993. Tara's experience covers financial structuring, real estate development, and asset management and she has worked on a full range of projects including urban grocery stores, health care centers, adaptive reuse and mixed-income, mixed-use properties. Tara enjoys projects where she can utilize her strong development skills while at the same time working creatively to develop a capital stack that brings these projects to fruition. Since joining Affirmative, she has led the expansion of Affirmative's development arm and is proud of the impacts these projects have had on the communities in which they are located. Before joining Affirmative, Tara worked at Corcoran Jennison Companies and assisted several community development corporations. She has a BA from Boston College and a Masters in Public Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
